A Word From The Country Music Cruise Executive Producer Mike Jason

As we get back into the office after having so much fun on our 7th sailing of The Country Music Cruise, we are already looking forward to 2021 and putting together a bigger and better country music party. We have some exciting artists joining our family including Josh Turner (special appearance 1/27), Mark Chesnutt, Sawyer Brown, John Schneider, Mo Pitney, Ashley Campbell, and Mandy Barnett for the first time!  We also have some old friends that we haven’t seen recently like Lee Greenwood, Mickey Gilley, Jimmy Fortune, and Asleep at the Wheel plus many of your favorites like Wade Hayes and The Oak Ridge Boys. And that’s not all, we are working hard on adding a number of additional artists to fill up every room with more music than ever. Look for some announcements as we get closer to sailing.  Of course, The Grand Ole Opry is back, the Elvis Tribute Artists will again be rocking the ship and of course, Lorianne Crook will be guiding us expertly through it all.

One highlight from this year was the incredible generosity of all of our cruisers in supporting the T.J. Martell Foundation at the live and silent auctions. We raised $82,000 which we added to our total contributions from the ‘70s Rock & Romance Cruise, enabling us to donate $135,000 in total to the foundation. I was fortunate to be at the T.J. Martell Annual Gala in Nashville a couple weeks ago to hand over our contribution and the foundation was beyond thrilled. At the dinner, our very own Wade Hayes performed the song “Go Live Your Life,” which he dedicated to Doctor Jordan Berlin (the recipient of the Medical Research Advancement Award), who successfully treated Wade during his bouts with colon cancer, eventually inspiring the song. It was an incredible moment - one of many that night as Vince Gill, CeCe Winans and Rascal Flatts performed as well. It was a night where the country music community celebrated life in every way and I thank you for helping make the night a success.

I look forward to seeing you all next year, if not sooner!
