A Word from Executive Producer, Mike Jason
We are now counting down the days to The Country Music Cruise 2023 sailing, which is again, sold out! We just completed our Malt Shop Memories Cruise a couple weeks ago and the Holland America staff were fantastic and are very much looking forward to seeing you in January. As we work on the finishing touches for our Country Music Cruise schedule, I can’t believe we are sailing on our 9th cruise. This sailing will have more music than ever before with 105 performances and 35 events spread across 7 venues on the ship.
The main stage theater will feature artists including Randy Owen, Clay Walker*, The Oak Ridge Boys*, Mark Chesnutt*, Neal McCoy, Pam Tillis, Grand Ole Opry at Sea and others. The Pool Deck stage will feature shows starting late morning and will go right through to midnight (with a bit of a break for meals) and will feature Asleep at The Wheel, T.G. Sheppard, Jimmy Fortune, Johnny Lee and many others. We scheduled shows in the Opry Guitar Bar, the Ocean Bar and of course our songwriters will be in the Lincoln Center, our most intimate venue. You’ll want to see one or two of those performances; they’re special, and you never know what star will sit in.
The Crow’s Nest will again feature our Elvis Tribute Artists, although we’ll see them popping up in other venues as well. It’s all hosted by Nan Kelley along with our own Jason Venner and Adam Wurtzel. This is just a sample of the artists we will have with us onboard and we can’t wait to hear them all play for us again soon.
I’m extra thankful for our cruise family this year – I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I look forward to seeing many of you in a couple months!
