Texas Artists Featured on Country Music Cruise
The 2015 Country Music Cruise, aboard Holland America Line’s Eurodam, is nodding to the Lone Star State and its influence on country music during a full day of festivities. The cruise departs Jan. 18 from Fort Lauderdale and makes a weeklong tour through the Caribbean.
Concerts will include Martina McBride, Lorrie Morgan, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, Charley Pride, Aaron Tippin, Johnny Lee and Bryan White.
The daylong Texas-inspired celebrations kick off with a gospel hour headlined by the Gatlins, move poolside with a performance by Lee and continue with Crook & Chase star Lorianne Crook, joining Gatlin for a Texas cooking demonstration. That night, Pride performs on the main stage and Asleep at the Wheel plays poolside.
Events throughout the week include Q&As and panel discussions, autograph sessions, a barbecue, songwriter workshops, guitar seminars, costume contests, country music karaoke, line dancing and more. The cruise plans stops in Nassau and Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas and in St. Thomas and St. Croix in the Virgin Islands. Prices start at $2,150 per person.
