A Word From The Country Music Cruise Executive Producer Mike Jason

As we move deep into summer, we are also moving deeper into our scheduling for the upcoming 2020 Country Music Cruise. With more than 20 performing artists, plus their bands, boasting dozens of # 1 hits, we have a lot of challenges to fit them all in 7 days. We’ve come up with a number of solutions to this “challenge”.

First, we will again cover the mid ship pool providing more seating and offering daily pool shows with some of our headliners and favorites including T. Graham Brown, David Frizzell, and John Berry. We also heard from many guests that they enjoyed the daytime main theater shows, so we now have Johnny Lee and Moe Bandy performing on two sea days in the main theater, plus the always popular Gospel show on Sunday.

I had a chance to sit with Larry, Steve and Rudy Gatlin last week and talk about the 2020 Gospel show which promises to be a highlight of the week. We have one of the country’s most successful comedians Larry The Cable Guy, lots of new friends (Tracy Lawrence, Pam Tillis, David Frizzell, John Berry, Exile, Noel & Ben Haggard, Tony Jackson, Linda Davis & The Scott Family), some friends from previous cruises (Randy Owen, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Gatlin Brothers, Moe Bandy, and T. Graham Brown) and our founding members of The Country Music Cruise- Wade Hayes, Chuck Mead, Lorianne Crook and Johnny Lee. I spoke to Johnny Lee and he is scheduled for surgery in early August, so please join me in saying a prayer for and sending best wishes to Johnny. He told me that he would absolutely be on the cruise in January!
