A message from The Country Music Cruise Executive Producer Mike Jason
This is our last newsletter before we sail on the “sold out” Country Music Cruise 2016! We just put the finishing touches on our onboard programming schedule and we have more performances (over 50) and interactive artist activities (more than 35) than ever before! We will have a great opportunity to hear real country music, have fun and get to know our favorite star a bit better! Each year, we add performances, activities, and new events that we hope will really enhance your experience. This year, the Grand Ole Opry performance at sea, featuring Mel Tillis, will surely be the highlight of the week. We have also added a second day time Gospel show that features our stellar group of Elvis tribute artists playing the music that Elvis grew up with and loved so much.
There will be plenty of special sail-away-parties featuring live performances by different artists each time we leave a beautiful port of call, so grab your favorite beverage, put some sunscreen on and dance to Johnny Lee, Shenandoah and The Bellamy Brothers as we sail through the beautiful Caribbean seas. We also have a few surprises in store for you to be announced on board throughout the week. One includes a famous NFL and college football coach hosting our NFL playoff “tailgate” party. Stay tuned.
Of course, we are always planning ahead in order to secure the best ships, great ports of call and the very best classic country artists. For 2017, we are incredibly excited to announce that we will again have a fantastic group of artists performing just for us in intimate settings-Vince Gill (special appearance on 1/28), Charley Pride, The Oak Ridge Boys, Brenda Lee, Lee Greenwood and Tanya Tucker just to name a few.
Many of our 2016 alumni will again be with us in 2017. If you missed the 2016 sailing, now is your chance to secure a spot with us next year.
Enjoy your holiday season and get plenty of rest. The Country Music Cruise 2016 will be a non-stop party combining great classic country music by superstar artists, too many special events to mention, great friends and just plain good fun.
I can’t wait to see you all in January!
