A MESSAGE FROM THE COUNTRY MUSIC CRUISE EXECUTIVE PRODUCER MIKE JASON

The response to our 2017 lineup has been overwhelming and with the word of mouth spreading of what an amazing experience it is on board The Country Music Cruise, we are almost sold out. We have less than 100 cabins available so don’t miss your chance to join us. Call one of our friendly reservationists at 844-345-2686 or click here to book online.

We also have some programming announcements that we’re excited to make. Famed football coach, Barry Switzer, will be joining us again this year and has agreed to “talk some football” with our guests. The cruise is just before Super Bowl 51 and Coach will undoubtedly give us all the deepest analysis we’ll get all season plus some laughs to boot. One of the most successful coaches of all time, Switzer did it his way and won big at every level. From the years 1973 to 1988, Switzer’s Oklahoma Sooners won 157, lost only 29 and tied 4 and he is only one of three football coaches to win an NCAA championship and a Super Bowl (with Dallas over Pittsburgh in 1996).

Elvis will be back in the building. We have just heard that Country Music Cruise favorites, the Elvis Tribute Artists, will be back and performing for us every day. As their fans know, and there are plenty of them since we read all the emails asking for them, the Elvis Tribute Artists have created a different show highlighting The King’s different styles from Country to Rock to Gospel and everything in between.

As many of our alumni guests are aware, we often invite a younger group that embraces classic country and performs in their own style. From The Roys in our first couple years to The Quebe Sisters last year, we have now added The Martin Family Circus in 2017. Here’s a bit about this wonderful and talented family. Grammy-winning artist Paul Martin, lead singer/guitarist of country-pop group Exile, met and married Jamie Allen, daughter of Duane Allen of Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys. Their four children were exposed early to 4-generations of rich musical heritage, and they watched as each child showed God-given musical talents early on. Practice soon led to performances around the Nashville area, then appearances on national television shows like The Oak Ridge Boys’ American Legion Christmas special, “The Marty Stuart Show” and “Larry’s Country Diner.” After a rousing performance of “Elvira” to a packed house for the Oak Ridge Boys’ induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Billboard Magazine heralded them as “singing to the rafters,” getting a crowd of seasoned performers and music industry folks to their feet.

We’re so happy to welcome these additions to The Country Music Cruise and look forward to you joining us.
