The Grand Ole Opry Will Be Back on The Country Music Cruise in 2015
We are incredibly pleased that The Grand Ole Opry will again have a significant presence on the 2015 cruise with some favorite fan activities and some brand-new events.
Opry will start with two very special events. The first will be “Backstage at the Opry,” a one-hour look backstage at the Grand Ole Opry through photos and stories found in the book "Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry." We’ll be guided through the rich traditions of the Grand Ole Opry House and those country superstars who have brought this amazing building to life.
Next will be “Opry Story Set to Music,” an audiovisual history of the Opry complemented with live musical interludes by cruise Artist Chuck Mead, featuring samples of the sounds that have defined the Opry throughout its 90-year history. This is Opry history brought to life through music, and there is no one better than Chuck to take us on this part of the voyage.
Other Opry activities will be announced soon, and all of them are sure to capture both the excitement and fun of the show that made country music famous!
