A Word From The Country Music Cruise Executive Producer Mike Jason
We are less than 12 weeks from sailing what will again be the country music party of the year. The artists joining us have their performances planned, their guest interactive events laid out, are scheduled for their exclusive All Access Pass interviews and as always, they are looking forward to providing those incredibly special moments-jam sessions, guitar workshops, Gospel show, Tributes shows, artist/guest game shows, autograph sessions and more. You just never know which artists will pop up on line at the buffet, stand next to you on the elevator, bump into you at the spa or almost anywhere else on the ship.
This month Jimmy Fortune carved out some time to chat with our resident author and music historian, Colin Escott. Jimmy has had a great year touring, making TV appearances, and earning a Dove Award. Jimmy talked about his years with the Statlers and how he’s looking forward to meeting fans onboard.
We’ve also put the final touches into the onboard programming and the Grand Ole Opry events will not disappoint! Once again they’ll bring the signature mic stands and a replica of the Opry's famed circle, it will truly transform the stage into the Opry at Sea.
