Ft Lauderdale, FL (May 5, 2015) --- The 2016 Country Music Cruise will host a full day of special events to honor the state of Texas and the vast influence it has had on country music when it sails through the Caribbean from January 16-23, 2016. A Salute To Texas will feature special onboard events, concerts and parties from sunup until long past sundown that bring artists and cruise guests together to celebrate the Lone Star State.
Fans from around the world will revel in the music, the food and the spirit of Texas, starting with a rollicking poolside performance by Texas legend Johnny Lee, delighting fans with his No. 1 Country and Top 5 Pop smash “Lookin’ For Love.” After the show, guests will be invited to join cruise host and television personality Lorianne Crook as she reveals personal tips for creating her favorite Texas dishes, which will be served up later that day during an authentic Texas buffet. The night kicks off with a set of performances by B.J. Thomas in the main theater while Chuck Mead & His Grassy Knoll Boys play all their favorite songs by Texas legends nearby and then closes on an even higher note with The Quebe Sisters hosting a Two Step Party by the Pool.
