Ft. Lauderdale FL (April 17, 2014)— Rising star Brett Kissel announces his return to the Country Music Cruise just days after winning his first Juno Award. The Breakthrough Artist of the Year will perform a series of concerts for fans onboard and will participate in a number of interactive fan events as the ship sails through the Caribbean from January 18-25, 2015. The luxury cruise will depart from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and travel to Nassau (Bahamas), St. Thomas, St. Croix and the private island of Half Moon Cay for seven days filled with concerts by the greatest artists in country music including Martina McBride, Charley Pride, Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers, Lorrie Morgan, John Anderson, Aaron Tippin, Darryl Worley, Asleep At The Wheel, Restless Heart and many more. Television personality Lorianne Crook, of the long-running hit show Crook & Chase, returns as the cruise host.
Kissel was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year last month by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (the first country artist to do so in 17 years) and performed during the nationally-televised ceremony. He was also nominated for four Association of Country Music in Alberta Awards in January, winning both the Single of the Year and Rising Star awards. Last fall, Kissel earned his first #1 CMT hit, “Started with a Song.”
